SIGHT FINAL YEAR PROJECTS

This year SIGHT has our first FYP projects, collaborating with different departments. As with all SIGHT projects, we cannot wait for our student teams to bring their solution to our partners and implement them!

CSE: Electronic Health Record (EHR)

The Electronic Health Record (EHR) is the second iteration of the electronic medical record system (EMRS) the first SIGHT team brought over to One-2-One Cambodia. The FYP team is not only working to improve the previous version, but is also expanding it to the mobile platform. The project will allows One-2-One to give volunteers and medical experts access to all patient's data in mobile clinic, even when internet is not available, on the mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets.

TEAM MEMBERS

LOUIS

I am a Year 4 student major in CSE. Currently I am the PR-ish member of the team, and also one of the coder on both mobile and server side.

RICKY

I am currently a final year CSE student from HKUST. I am responsible for managing the database and integration of the project. Though I am not the ‘best’ student, I believe that I can meet the goal with my motivation to excel.

RON

I am a final year CSE student in HKUST. I am interested in programming and responsible for the android application development in this project.

JOHN

I am currently a year 4 CSE student, and I am interested in data analysis and eager to learn new technologies.

MAE: H. Pylori breath detection

Our first collaboration with the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE), our Final Year Design Project (FYDP) team is building a gas sensor to screen for patients with H. Pylori infections.

I am Leung Hiu Tung Jasmine, Year 4 Dual Degree student in Mechanical Engineering and General Business Management. I hope I can use the things I learnt in UST and help those in need.

My name is Shin Young Jeong from South Korea. My role is to design Arduino MCU interface for biosensor. Happy to work with Sight and FYDP team!

NATHAN

I am a final year student in MECH. My part is to design the interface circuit of the biosensor. I would like to help people and learn from this project.
